Announcement of the 7.th European Team Championship – Final

Accordingly the decisions taken at ICCF-Europa Meeting in Pleven, the following teams qualified for the Final:
Czech Republic
England
Germany
Israel
Italy
Lithuania
Netherlands
Portugal
Romania
Russia
Slovakia
Slovenia
Spain
Switzerland
Ukraine

There will be 8 players in each team.

Each team should have a captain.

The games will be played on ICCF-webserver.

Team entries should be sent, via the national federation, not later than the 25.11.2008, to:
Gian-Maria Tani, Zonal Director (g.m.tani@iccf-europa.com)

All entries should include the following details:
board order;
names, ICCF codes and e-mail addresses of the players in the team;
name and e-mail address of the Team Captain.

for title norm purposes, rating numbers will be taken from the ICCF Rating List as at 1.10.2008 and/or from the current FIDE Rating List.  FIDE ratings will be treated as “unfixed” for title norm purposes. Other players will be allocated a special tournament rating of 2200.

The Final will start on 31.12.2008.
