Announcement of the 68th Semifinals |

The ICCF-Europa Meeting, held in Leeds during 2009 ICCF Congress, decided that the 68th E.I.C. Semifinals will be played on the ICCF web-server. 1) Each National Federation of the European Zone has the right to nominate one player. 2) The winner of the 6th European Team Championship, Germany, is allowed 3 extra places; the second placed Federation in the 6th E.T.C., Lithuania, is allowed 2 extra places; the third placed Federation in the 6th E.T.C., Czech Republic, is allowed one extra place. 3) The following players are entitled to entry
the 68th E.I.C. Semifinals: A qualification accordingly points 3a to 3d is valid until 10 years after the moment the qualification was achieved. A qualification accordingly points 3a to 3f may be used only once. Each Semifinal will have 13 players. If the number of the entries won’t be a multiple of 13, the players who have been entered accordingly point 3h and who have the lower ICCF ELO rating won’t be admitted to the Semifinal. The winner and the runner-up of each Semifinal will get the right to participate to a Final of the E.I.C. The entries have to be sent to the Zonal Director, not later than the 20.11.2009, throughout the National Federations. The Semifinals will start on 30.12.2009.
